What a wonderful park, volunteer hosts were the best . Weather for our visit was perfect. We will definitely return.The town of Hartwell has a true small town feel, with a quaint downtown area. Surrounding it is anything you can possibly need.One of our favorite camping spots of the year.

Love this park. The only complaint is that there was no soap or hand dryer in the bath house.

Was told my golf cart was approved to use. When I got there, I was told the cart could only be used to visit the restrooms. As I was in a self contanied RV that was not needed. Should have been told in advance. Paid for 4 days, but left the campground on 2nd day. Never took the cart off the trailer...Very upset as I have stayed in other ACOE campgrounds with no problems whatsoever. Needless to say, I will never return to this place.

With only half the camp ground open during the winter season why not open the half with the bathhouse open? During the night time you can listen to the coyotes howl any where in the camp ground and you must use your vehicle to go to the rest room instead of foot power. I love the camp ground and visit at least a year.

Loved the campsite. Wish you would trim the trees at the lake so that site 18 would have a view. Had a few ants but not too bad. All in all we loved it! Park attendant and Rangers extremely helpful.

This is a nice campground and been visiting for years but this time the fire pit was nearly full of trash and it was not just recently it had not been cleaned out in a long timeThe gravel drive ways have not been maintained basically no gravel and just general neglect of the sites I looked at and I never saw a volunteer clean a site or even in the campground except part hostBut overall water pressure and electricity was good and campground has a pretty setting

We always enjoy staying at Watsadler--especially in the spring and fall. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. The park itself is well-maintained, and enough off of the beaten path that even during the busiest boating season, there is not a tremendous amount of boat traffic on the lake. Bath house was clean and well-maintained. Shower water was hot! ;-)

The Camp Hosts had excellent personalities. My only complaint was that the comfort facility open was in the closed portion of the camp ground. It would have made it easier to change the camping area to the open facility rather than have the campers trapse to the opposite end of the camp ground.

Rude, hateful and over exaggerating volunteer attendant. Never have problem with anyone at reservoir campgrounds. Hope they are gone by summer. Worse trip ever.

Very nice campground with privacy on each site! Can't believe we haven't heard about how great this campground is for families!!!! Very clean and two playgrounds are fabulous!! Easy access to lake on almost every site. We will definitely book here again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Watsadler! We were in site 19 on March 7th for 3 nights. The site was almost level, just a minor side to side adjustment. The weather was perfect and everyone we met in the campground was polite and friendly. Only one bath house was open, which was sufficient for the number of sites open. It was however on the other side of the campground. It's probably the newest bath house in the CG and it wasn't a problem. The 50 amp receptacle was not working on our site when we arrived, but since we weren't using the A/Cs we just used the 30 amp receptacle and it was ALL GOOD! We've stayed here many times and will be back. We enjoyed the walk out to the dam and one shopping trip in Hartwell.
