Not a bad spot on the lake

The campground is normally operated by pleasant hosts and this trip was no exception. Occasionally, some are more pleasant than others. The sites were in good order and the weather was grand. We usually enjoy the Corp parks and for retirees, the overnight rates are very good. We use other campgrounds in the area, but we keep migrating back to Wat Sadler.

We were camping on lot #45 last weekend and there was not a cooking grate on top of the new fire pit. The little cooking grill that is provided is not big enough nor is the best to cook on with wood. I was told by the camp host that the new fire pits that were being installed did not have cooking grates on them. That is the only thing that we cook on when we are camping there and we camp there about every other weekend.

the campground was in great shape, restrooms were very clean and the ground host were very friendly and helpful . we will be back again.

Incredibly disappointed in our visit. Sites being dirt (rather than gravel) combined with a few rain showers, everything was a mess, covered in dirt splatters! Neighbors were wild, loud and unruly and quiet time is not at all inforced by park staff. Location of dump station was awkward and forced you to drive out of way through park. We wanted to love it, and really enjoyed the close proximity to the day but sadly that was about all that was positive.
