The campground is well managed. Campsites are very tidy and clean. Ablution blocks are neat. Will return.

Nice campground. Bathrooms were clean. There was plastic and trash in the fire pit, but I gather they have been having that problem. Certainly not the fault of the volunteers, who, by the way we're super friendly. I'll go back for sure.

Great. Small campground. My family has been staying at Watsadler for 40 years. Love it!

Clean and well maintained -- provided easy access to water to do a little kayaking

Watsadler is a great little campground. The sites are situated on several peninsulas on Lake Hartwell. The sites on our loop (24-41) all have views and access to the lake. Launching a small boat or kayak is possible from the sites in the high 30s and 40-41. The sites in the low to mid 30s appeared to adjoin deeper water where larger boats could anchor.

The campground hosts were friendly and diligent. Everything was well-kept and clean. And despite the large number of children on spring break, other campers and kids were courteous and adhered to quiet hours.

The town of Hartwell is 10 minutes away with lots of restaurants, fast food, and major chain stores for hardware and groceries.

Watsadler is very hard to get into, but it’s definitely worth the effort!
