The campground is well managed. Campsites are very tidy and clean. Ablution blocks are neat. Will return.

Nice campground. Bathrooms were clean. There was plastic and trash in the fire pit, but I gather they have been having that problem. Certainly not the fault of the volunteers, who, by the way we're super friendly. I'll go back for sure.

Great. Small campground. My family has been staying at Watsadler for 40 years. Love it!

Watsadler is a great little campground. The sites are situated on several peninsulas on Lake Hartwell. The sites on our loop (24-41) all have views and access to the lake. Launching a small boat or kayak is possible from the sites in the high 30s and 40-41. The sites in the low to mid 30s appeared to adjoin deeper water where larger boats could anchor.

The campground hosts were friendly and diligent. Everything was well-kept and clean. And despite the large number of children on spring break, other campers and kids were courteous and adhered to quiet hours.

The town of Hartwell is 10 minutes away with lots of restaurants, fast food, and major chain stores for hardware and groceries.

Watsadler is very hard to get into, but itโ€™s definitely worth the effort!

My husband and I always enjoy the COE campgrounds the most. However, during our stay at Watsadler COE Campground, it was extremely annoying to find several campers not willing to pick up their pet's poop. We bring 4 trained retrievers with us every year and find the lack of responsibility among 5 campers with dogs in our loop was extremely irritating. I even offered poop bags to a couple of them but the bags were put in their pockets and not used to my knowledge. I wish the camp host/ranger would remind everyone coming in to camp, their responsibilities as a pet owner. 1. Keep your dog on a leash, and for the cleanliness of the park and the health of other campers, PICK UP YOUR DOG'S POOP!!!!!!!!! Is there anything that could be done (short of evicting campers who don't pick up) to remind campers of THIER responsibilities as a pet owner?????

Such a peaceful campground. Perfect getaway from the city. Beautiful lake views. We stayed twice in November but plan to return in the summer in order to kayak.

We had 4 sites near each other for a family reunion. All sites were very nice, clean and on the water. Unfortunately hurricane Ian was coming our way and we had to cut our vacation time short. Great place to camp. Host were excellent.
