Great park on Lake Hartwell. Well spaced out sites with grill and fire ring amenities.

As we enjoyed our stay at Watsadler, even though the weather wasnt the best, we had a good site and a great view of the lake

We enjoyed our stay here! Most sites are right on the lake! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and warm! lt's a cold time of year, so the warm bathrooms were wonderful! There was even wood for sale across the road, right outside the campground.

clean, pleasant, and friendly and helpful hosts. We needed to change campsites when we actually got there to set up, and the host did all she could to help me out, never frustrated or annoyed. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their first camping experience!

Nothing beats camping in January. So few people, great sleeps and all the best sites are available. Great host and unbeatable price with America the Beautiful pass.

GOOD WATER SIDE SITES. GRASS COULD BE MOWED MORE FREQUENTLY.

We stayed @ site # 17-site was large & had good view of lake-Only cons would be pertaining to bathhouse: there is no soap or anything to dry hands on-shower drain was stopped up (but when I told office staff they had it fixed)

We (my entire family) have camped at Watsadler for approximately 20 years. We have never had a problem until 1/26/22 when we arrived. The office was closed like we knew it would be (winter hours). We know to make sure to check in the next day (like we always have). We were trying to back the camper in when the lady (camp attendant) came and was very rude and asked "did you not hear me yelling for you?" Um no...we would have stopped if we did. She had to take our drivers license to the office and "check us in". We have never had to show our drivers license. The next day, we were walking with our grandchildren and the Man (park attendant) came up to us and asked if we were camping and we said yes. he said what sites? We told him what sites. He asked again what sites...then for the third time he asked again what sites. Did he not believe us the first 2 times???? After that another family member came to visit for a while. She told the lady she wanted to visit site 19. She received a pass and came to the site. The lady came down there and said aren't you supposed to be on site 19. She said yes but this is my family too. Mind you she was on site 18 at the time. The lady said I gave you the wrong pass and I need it back before I can give you the correct one. I went to the lady and told her I wanted to speak to a Ranger. She said she can call a Ranger down there to speak to us. She asked if there was a problem. I told her we have camped here for more than 15 years and have NEVER been harrassed like we have been this time. Evidently she didn't call the Ranger (or they didn't want to hear it). NO ONE EVER CAME TO TALK TO US. We have always loved Watsadler because all the attendants were so nice but I don't know if we will return until they do something about the current Park Attendants. The ones on the right when you come in the gate.

Great waterside Rv campground all around! This was my 1st time there .and I will return because of the staffs friendliness and willing to help and information about the area & campground.

Very nice campground, we had site 21 which in the park host’s opinion is the best site. With the front of the RV facing more toward the lake and being slightly elevated it provided a nice panoramic view of the lake.

We spent 5 days on site 17. It is the best site in the camp. It is large and has a large open view of the lake. We spent 2 additional days on site 30. It was miserable. It was tiny and wedged between two others sites. There was no privacy. We could clearly hear conversations 2 sites over.
