Nice campground on a beautiful lake. If you have not stayed there for a few years be aware that the grass is not mowed except in certain areas, the bath houses still need to be updated and several camp spots have dead trees. Our last trip was good, campground was quite and the host are very nice.

The campground was in the worst shape I have ever seen!!!!! I have been going to Bolding Mill for many years. It has always looked great. This time the grass was two feet tall, the campsites were not cleaned off after someone left, the bathhouse was disgusting!!!!! In the two weeks we were there two guys came and cut a little path around some of the campsites, but not all of them. One of our friends who stays a lot asked the men if they would cut a small path around their campsite and was told they were not even allowed to speak to them. He had to take his own weed eater and make a path. This is unexceptionable!!!!! The camp hosts said the problem was the budget had been cut. We pay to camp there and expect it to be presentable when we arrive. This was definitely not the case!!!!

My only complaint is that they dont have an automatic gate to leave the park before 7am. I had to work 2 days while we were there and had to leave my car outside gate and wake my husband up to take me to my car in the dark..seems like a simple request! Otherwise this park is fantastic!!!

This was our first experience at a COE and we were quite impressed. Not only were most sites lakefront, ours was rather large. We started out at site 57 but moved to 58 as it had an unobstructed view of the lake. The site was about 40 yards from the water. Although it rained most of the weekend (remnants of Hurricane Delta) and we were only able to spend a few hours outdoors, we were impressed so much that we will go back for sure. We drove around and made notes of sites we might go for next time. I highlighted so many that looked awesome... 6-10, 62-64, 67, 69, 71-73, 78, 86,87,90 (in addition to ours... 58). From our prospective, there were plenty that looked liked they were perfect. In the loop with sites 3-7, it looked a little tight navigating in that area but they were great looking spots for someone who might have a shorter camper or more experience driving one our size. Our camper is a 30 travel trailer for perspective. We had no issues with ATT cell service and were able to watch football all weekend as we hunkered down in the rain. We will definitely be back!
