We loved Old Federal and cant wait to go back. Our only disappointment, and it was a big concern, were the bathrooms. They were not clean at all. Weve already decided that, on our next trip back, were going to bring a bottle of bleach to clean the showers before we get in them. The sinks always had bugs on them too. Oh, and a little ventilation would really help. The Florida state campgrounds have Hosts/Volunteers that stay for free and clean the bathrooms several times a day. Hearing that the COEs are not adequately funded, this would be a great help to maintain the parks.Everything else in Old Federal, including the hosts, were all really nice. The sites were clean and we loved the water views. Some of the grass was a bit high, but they were actually cutting the day we left. We will definitely be back!

Best campground ever. All sites are waterfront. Large, shady, grassy. Plenty of space between sites.

Out site was beautiful with an expansive view of Lake Sidney Lanier. Very quiet and peaceful. Also, only a 45 minute drive to Stone Mountain. A must see landmark.

The camp host, Floyd, was phenomenal. The sites were clean as well as the bathroom. The only issue with the bathroom was there were no paper towels to dry your hands after washing. I assumed this was because of covid.
