We’ve been camping at Old Federal for 12+ years, and it is our favorite close to home, weekend get-away campground. The campground has always been beautifully kept, grass cut, sites were cleaned after each camper checked out, even to the point of removing wood and ashes from the firepits that had not fully burned…UNTIL THIS YEAR!!! When we were there 2 weeks ago, the grass had not been cut all season, and I had to clean my own campsite (I’ve learned to carry a leaf blower with me to blow off the campsite). I actually witnessed another camper cutting the grass around the pavilion with a push mower. IT IS SAD AND DISAPPOINTING TO SEE THE CAMPGROUND NOT BEING MAINTAINED!!!

Every lot is worth having , beautiful sites right next to water, only thing they need a lawn service but can't afford it , seems like county would have the hall co inmates out their cutting and trimming but over all I rate this place a 10 !!

Campground was very nice and it was great that most of the campsites were on the water. Great views of the water and boats. It was nice to be able to walk around the entire campground with easy walking on pavement and sidewalks. The only negative part of the campground is that they don't keep the restrooms and shower areas very clean.

We love camping at Old Federal, it is our favorite campground. The hosts we have this year, are very friendly & nice. I hope they come back next year.

Old Federal campground is a great place. The sites are roomy and the majority of them are right on the water. The park is well maintained and the hosts were very pleasant. Old Federal has always been one of my favorite campgrounds as a weekend get away from Atlanta.

We had a great time, even though it rained for close to 75% of the time we were there. I really liked the beach and swimming in Lake Lanier. The lakeside campsites are fantastic and we will plan to be there again, at Old Federal to enjoy more camping !
