Loved our site, but a lot of debris was all over the campgrounds from prior storms. It made the place look a bit sloppy which it usually is not. New bath facility is very nice. Lake is low and I got 2 dings in my boat prop just picking up passengers at the dock. The dock should be moved further into the lake so there is more than 2' of water at the dock. We ended up having to load passengers by wading out on the boat ramp...NOT GOOD!

Bald Ridge Creek is a beautiful campground! There are no bad sites! Its' cleaned and sites are kept nicely. The only reason not a 5 star review are the hosts at check-in. Definitely not people people. Kind of grumpy and miserable. Maybe just not cut out to be campground hosts.

We were in site 43, which I think is probably the nicest in the park.

Will definitely go there again.

The bath house was closed so for part of my family staying near it they had NO access to a restroom or shower without walking a good distance or driving !! This is crazy. Work should have been completed before the campground opened this season. Also the grounds are NOT well kept any longer. Mowing is spotty and over all maintenance is lacking. This facility is no longer consistent with the upkeep that it was always known for having. Very sad !!!! The state should be ashamed.

We have camped at this campground for years and have never seen it in such poor shape. The grounds were neglected to the point of impacting the ability for our grandkids to play in the grass. It appeared the grass had not been cut in a very long time. There were individuals bringing lawnmowers from home and cutting their areas. This is disgraceful. Not only does it limit the ability to utilize all areas, it creates an environment for snakes and rodents. Bald Ridge Creek has always been a beautiful area. If this is going to be new norm for the Corp of Engineers we will have to reconsider where we camp. Whatever the excuses are for the poor maintenance is not good enough. I do hope it will be improved on back to the standards your customers expect and pay for.

Both sets of hosts at the house have been excellent once again. There was a period when those that take care of the grounds were told to cut back which made the campground look a little unkempt. But one of the campers went home and brought his mower in and cut most of the grace. The core maintenance finally came in and finished the job. Hopefully, the core will find the funding next year because this is probably the best on Lake Lanier.

We love Bald Ridge for its spacious lakefront sites. There are many sites with great access for swimming and kayaking. Perfect for little children to run and play. My only complaint is that the bathrooms were lacking soap for several days and when I inquired at the front gate about this was told that they couldnt do anything about it, they had to wait for the maintenance man to come. Other than that we had a fabulous stay and will definitely return. This is one of our favorite local campgrounds!

Best site in the Campground, except when it rains! Huge long leaf pine trees shade the site. Gorgeous view of Lake Lanier! Beachfront site! We will be back!
