Great campground

The camp site was a pig pen, garbage left in the grill and fire pit, the site smelled like sewage that may have leaked out from the camper before, the grass was very high and not cut. garbage thrown in the grass and on the bank of the lake from campers. the bathrooms were disgusting and we were told to bring in your own toilet tissue, My husband offered to mow the grass and the host told us that they do not have a lawn mover, the contractors raised the price and the corp was out of money so they could not afford to pay for the camp grounds to be kept up. I doubt that we will return. we are so disappointed in the way this camp ground has NOT been taken care of. People were making loud noises well till 3 am and nothing was done. As I said my husband offered to mow our area, we as past camp host for the state of Georgia, would never allow our park to be in such bad shape, especially the bathrooms. Though we paid full price and received a site that you could not walk around due to the high grass, garbage thrown in the grass and my lab had a hard time walking in the grass, we also had a handicap site due to my disability , you would think they would have kept these sites maintained so no one would trip or fall. I would like to know how in the world this park ran out of money and why was the park is such a disgrace?

We love the peace and quiet beside the lake and enjoy floating in our tubes. The campground is kept up so nicely - well manicured.
