Very well kept campground. The volunteers do an awesome job at keeping everything cleaned up (even the bathrooms). I have not been here in over 20 years and we came back and I have to say it is by far the best campground we have ever been to. The water view and access to water was amazing. This campground is one that should be open longer or all year. Sad what the government is doing to the COE parks.

This was a great campsite! Very private and a large amount of space. Campsites are spaced out nicely; you can barely see campers near you. This site had an easy walk down to the lake with amazing views. We were also walking distance to the bathrooms that also had showers. Please note that this campground has gated access and they do close their gates at night (I believe 10pm-7am). They do not give gate codes like some other sites do.

This campground is amazing. Beautiful scenery from every site and water access. Honestly wish we would have stayed longer and definitely be back!

Stayed two nights in site 025 which was a beautiful, private wooded site. The staff at the campground were friendly and very helpful. we were able to find a level spot for setup so this pull-thru site was perfect. The site overlooked the lake and made for a pleasant experience. Touring around the camp it seemed many of the sites had awesome lake views as this campground is situated on a peninsula. Definitely a must return.

The volunteers did a good job, but paid hosts would add a sense of permanence and consideration that campers would appreciate. This Campground should remain open longer in the fall and open earlier in the spring.

This is a back to nature campground.Lots of wildlife. The water around most camp sites is very close.A lot of shade from all the trees. At night this is about as quite as it gets. The campground has some age on it’s bath houses, but they are kept clean and neat.Just a short drive to food stores.
