Our site is by the water and has a direct path to access the lake. People are very friendly, my next door neighbor offered us a fan seeing us putting up a tent. We are actually car camping in our Tesla and the tent is for storage purpose only. I deduct two stars because the site is not very clean and the showers have longlines. Only one bathroom in the campground and one available shower stall for women. Its a great spot for boating.

Site 38, picked because of the pine trees surrounding it. Apparently this campground was closed for improvements and just reopened after 2 years. The pines are all gone, all of them, around this and other sites, don't be fooled by the pictures. There is not a tree until the woodline. Pictures need to be updated! They should have paid a few hundred dollars to have the bathroom power washed on the inside while closed. Would have liked a shower but hard pass. Pleasant employees were a positive.

Helpful and friendly gate staff. Beautiful shady sites, many lakefront or with a view of the lake. Paved, level sites.

There are a lot of dead limbs up in the pine trees. big dead limbs kept falling barely missing our truck and our RV. we were on site 38. if there had been a child down and those limbs would have fell and hit the child the child would have been hurt or killed. the dead limbs need to be trimmed off all the trees around the campsites.

When we arrived other campers were in our reserved spot. We were placed in a more crowded area. There were 3 campers close by, they played pound country music each night until after 10pm. They also stood near the road and had loud conversations. No one patrolled.

Clean and spacious campsites. We stayed in Site 38. There is a path with stairs down to the edge of Lake Allatoona. Site was paved and level. Large gravel area with picnic table and fire pit facing lake. Our hot water stopped working so we had to shower in bath house. Good hot water pressure. No soap for hands at sink so I had to take my own. Hand dryer on wall was very weak and did nothing to dry hands. Showers were fairly clean but walls could use a good scrubbing. Vents in ceiling always seem to be forgotten when cleaning wherever we go and this place was no different. Visited Kennesaw Mtn. Battlefield Park and hiked the trails to the top for some great views of Atlanta and surrounding area. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Met very nice campers throughout the park as we walked our dog. Park staff were helpful by answering questions.
