The site was great. I was there for 3 nights and absolutely loved it!… the water from the lake was perfect, my site was secluded so we had had plenty of privacy.. there was also a duck that greeted us and also returned to say goodbye.. The staff was very friendly and knowledge..

Fabulous campgrounds. But bring leveling blocks as you may need them. Great Ranger Station personnel. Most sites have a view of the lake several have direct water access for kayaks and wading. But bring your water shoes as it’s rocky and they are sharp.

Beautiful, beautiful campground. Many sites are awkward but that is unavoidable considering the hilly conditions. Site 41, a pull thru, has a narrow asphalt base that was easy to level on. But . . . when you stepped out the door you were on unloved loose gravel - a hazard, especially for someone like me with mobility issues. There were servers steps to get to the large, flat, pea graveled area for the picnic table and seating area. I still give this a 5 because the site was so peaceful. We even had our own private beach. Be aware of inconveniences and enjoy yourself.
