Disappointed that some sights are not put aside for FF as the weekends are book up months in advance and no chance for people to book a for a week or two as the weekends are mostly reserved. There must be a way several sights can be reserved for FF and if not filled by Thursday before the weekend they could be released for reservation.

Great place. Much better than I had anticipated. Thought went into the layout of the mountainous location. Well done. Appears to be very well managed as well as staff at main entrance were professional and helpful as it was my first time there.

Large campground with lakeside and forested sites. We stayed at site 67, in the center loop, in late September. The site was a long, spacious, and shaded back-in site with water and electric. The driveway has a slope to the back and large bumps in the asphalt from tree roots which could interfere with leveling for some rigs. It was nice that the driveway was a hard surface due to recent heavy rain in the area. The site included a picnic table, grill and fire ring. There was some litter on the site and in the surrounding area which we cleaned up before we left. I didnt check the restrooms as we use our own facilities. Sites along the lakeshore are beautiful and popular on weekends so no lakefront sites were available for the days we needed. Trains can be heard in the distance throughout the night. Easy access to the dump station which had water to rinse the hose but no threaded connection for tank flushing.
