Campground is well maintained. The attendants are friendly. Wish COE's would put back laundry room.

The good. Nice campsites near the water. Good view and clean. Some sites had ant problems but we did not.Now the bad. The gate is closed and locked at 10: 30 PM. Not a terrible thing, right? Wrong!! We went to a Braves games.We had two vehicles with us as my daughters family camped with us also. Our campsite is about a mile from the gate. We brought both vehicles to the gate one to park outside the gate in overflow and one to park inside the gate so we could have a ride to our campsite after 10:30. But no, we could not park inside the gate as they said there was no parking place. Another really good idea to piss off a customer.There was plenty of room. Running late we parked both vehicles outside the gate and walked to our campsite at 11:30 that night after the Braves game with two young kids. Never stay here for this reason. The person at the gate said she understood our situation but would not accommodate us. What a stupid rule. Also, if an emergency comes up and you need to get out, they said to call 911. Another stupid thing to tell us. I usually love Corp of Engineers campgrounds, but not this one because of dumb, ridiculous rules.

We love the park. The facility and staff and everything about each trip is fantastic .....except for the dump station. There are two clean out stations. The one furthest from the entry is the only good one. The one closest does not have a male hose connection and therefore, it is impossible to get a good clean on the RV tanks. I have asked several time, including a phone call to the main line. Please, this is a simple re-do. Costing no more than a few dollars. If permissible, let me know and i will do it myself at my expense. Thanks
