The campground and our site was well maintained and the staff very helpful. Cant wait to come back when the weather is a bit warmer.

Great campground with large sites, those on the water have nice sized decks, fire rings and picnic tables with nice views.

Mckinney campground was a campers paradise. The sites are beautiful and the park was very clean. I did notice a bit of a distance from some of the bath houses and dumpsters from some sites. But it was easy to get to everything once we settled in. I would like to see some other dump stations added to the campground though, just having two and going through the checkout process is a little daunting. Overall our stay was great.

Our stay at our Campsie was fine. The poor rating is caused by the disaster we faced at the dump station. We need to flush our black tank when leaving a campground. There were no hose connections to accomplish this activity. We were than told by the attendant that the dump station was not to be used for flushing tanks. It takes less than 5 minutes on average to flush a tank. Therefore, I believe accommodations should be made to help us rver's that have no place else to flush our tanks.

Great location and most sites are on the water. Some sites are tight to maneuver, so choose your site carefully. Visit the state park its only a few minutes away and has lots of activities.

The campground itself is great. Many great lakeside sites. Unfortunately during out stay the water to the entire campground was shut off as the local utilties was working on fixing a problem with their system.

Beautiful campground! The deer roam and you see them often. Our site was easy to back into. I do wish they would mention more about the trash on the map but we figured it out. Attendants are nice and welcoming! The view of the lake was beautiful! Take the trail down to see it up close! We will absolutely return.

Mckinney is our "home" campground. It is very popular, so it can be a challenge to find availability. Nearly every site is very easy to get in. We love the sites with decks which make for a cozy, intimate space during our stay.

Nice campground with spacious sites. Beautiful lake. Not so far from civilization so you can easily get to restaurants, groceries, etc.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. All the sites are great! Internet connection is very good almost everywhere on the campground.

Besides the fact that we heard great things about McKinney Campground, the main reason we booked a one night stay was to test how good the cell service was in the area because we wanted a location where we could work out of our RV for a week. Not only did we find the cell service to be very good to excellent, we loved the campground so much that we decided to come back next week. We stayed on site 112. The view was terrific and we had good privacy. The campground is very well designed, most of the sites have great water views and a walk around the campground feels like you're taking a stroll down a country road surrounded by trees and forests. Definitely looking forward to coming back next week!

Great location, plenty of sites (150), bathhouses OK, water and electric at all sites. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the entrance gate is locked at 10:30 pm.

Great views of the lake. Restaurants were close by. Our site was tight and the shoulder on one side was washed out.
