Lovely park, we had a nice time here with a great deck and view of the lake. We did not use the bath house but did check it out and it looked fine, newer and clean. The area is wooded and very quiet. I used T Mobile Router the entire stay without any issues, great cell service.

There was no hand soap in the bathrooms and the bathrooms were not maintained properly.

This is a beautiful setting open year round, with beautiful views of the lake from just about every site. Camp Hosts were great and maintenance staff appeared to be on top of everything. We will be back several times between January and March yearly.

You can't just pull up to the window to check in, you have to park the vehicle. Which is ridiculous. And the signage is poor, especially in the dark, and especially in a motorhome. So its confusing. And then the two ladies come running out screaming that you're in the wrong spot. And now what do you do? Its dark so the rear view mirrors don't help much and the rear camera doesn't work in the dark when backing up. There's a median behind you so backing up is tricky. I go to get out to see where the median is and one of the ladies yell some more and tell me to get back in the motorhome and that they'll tell me where the median is. Then she proceeds to walk behind the motorhome where I cant see her! And then she yells some more when I get out to explain to her that I cant see behind me, nor can I hear her over the motorhome engine. Very frustrating experience when checking into a campground for vacation rest and relaxation!

We absolutely LOVED our time at McKinney Campground. It may be one of our favorite spots now! We came to the area to visit family, and originally only planned to stay three nights, but quickly realized that was not enough time and needed three more. We first had site 111 and loved the cozy wooden deck right outside of our RV and enjoyed the lake and tree views. We then switched to 87, another gorgeous lakefront site with wider views and more room. You do have to be careful about which site you choose to make sure you are ok with your rig and the size of the hill to back up or down into beforehand. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back! Great value for money and gorgeous park.

We didn't know that the gates lock at 10:30pm. We almost got locked out by arriving late, as we were driving in from Florida. We did not use any facilities, just needed a place to park the camper and sleep after 12 hours on the road. Would be helpful to make sure visitors know the gate locks at a certain time, and given the info to be able to get in after hours. Beautiful site once we saw it in the morning daylight.

Site 111. Level site with a great lake view. Private deck with picnic table and fire ring nearby. There was very little traffic so it was great area for walking and biking. Perfect location for relaxing. Stores and restaurants nearby.
