My site was super private and pretty. Power and water worked great at the site, no problems.Be aware that some sites are premium lakefront site and others are standard sites for less $$ (prices at time of writing were $34 for premium, $30 for standard.)I was disappointed that the dump stations did not have a garden hose connection for me to clean out my tank. I was unable to clean my tank with the sprayers present. They also sprayed so hard that when trying to clean my stuff, water splashed everywhere all over me. Not fun.

You all close down to early in the fall. In this area all campgrounds should be open all year long.

Staff was excellent and very courteous. All facilities was clean, and operational. Campsite was clean, and the leaves and pine straw was blown off the roads for us to enjoy our bikes on.

We were glad to be at McKinney again and It is one of our favorite campgrounds. Our campsite was on the water and very quiet which was nice, but it wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. That’s usually done. But it is so close to home , we will surely be back soon!

Pretty views, sites well spaced. Plenty of deer roaming around the campground. There's a train that runs nearby and often. It was nostalgic to us but might bother some who aren't used to the clacky-clack and whistle of passing trains. The gravel around the campsite was almost non-existent. It seems that they did very little to update the bath house or the campsites during the time they were closed.
