Beautiful and well kept. Always enjoy this campsite, especially on the water.

My experience was very good. Good people, beautiful location! My only constructive feedback is to monitor the boaters. They were coming very close to people in the water, and going too fast! They created too much noise and big waves. They began at the crack of dawn during the weekend and continued till after dark! The entire week we were there I did not see any coast guard or park rangers on the lake. Too many boats going too fast and coming too close to each other! A recipe for disaster! Thank God it did not happen while we were there, but it will if this goes on unchecked!!!! The loop we camped in had only two individual bathrooms. (One sink, toilet, and shower in each.) Not enough on a busy summer day. Multiple toilets would have made a big difference. When you need to go, you need to go! I made multiple trips and had to wait each time, usually someone taking a shower. The park and lake are beautiful! We enjoyed our time there! A few improvements and it could have been excellent!

It is a great camp, water sites are very well arrange to have a great view of the lake and campground was very neat and clean. The only thing is if you take youngsters with you to the campground. It has a lack of activities for kids and young teenagers. There is only a playground for the little ones and the beach which is only good during summer time. Otherwise the place is awesome to relax and get away from the world. It is also less than an hour away from Atlanta which makes it convenient for those who want to take a day of 2 to go and visit the city.
