Camped in site 15 & had a wonderful birthday weekend for my Mom. We brought our kayaks/PBs and left them at our A loops beach area as did other campers and no one bothers them. We were gone to Crater Lake one full day to Cleetwood cove trail and did the boat tour on Wizard Island. Camp/belongings were left alone no problem. The next morning we paddled from camp over to the Lake of the Woods lodge restaurant for breakfast and vacay drinks. There was a car show which closed the boat ramp and made for an amazing calm morning on the water. The winds pick up giving choppy water as the day goes on but still fun to be on the water. Bathrooms (no showers) were kept clean. A loop bathroom didnt have outside lighting so at night we only used the bathroom in B loop. These sites are very nicely spread out with plenty of space between. A really nice change from the newer campgrounds/RV parks that squeeze you in like sardines to maximize profits w/o actually caring about campers/customers. Both Camp host couples were wonderful. They addressed an issue I had of hearing a dog whining (and some barking) ALL night long in another tent near by. The next night no whining at all and I was able to sleep. Beautiful, serene lake and campground!!! Wish we brought bikes to ride to lake trail. Will return for sure!

It's a lovely campground in a gorgeous location. Unfortunately many people don't have respect for their neighbors in the campground. I guess I haven't camped that much the last few years, but I was very disappointed by the sheer number of sites operating loud generators much of the day. It would be nice if the campground didn't allow the use of generators. Those that need to bring a single wide on wheels and generate electricity to have a house in a campground tend to ruin it for everyone camping for the peace and sounds of nature. If you're going to drag your home up with you and watch TV, why go camping? I miss the old days. Campground staff here are great, the property is nice, the lake is gorgeous... if only all the campers had some class and conscientiousness.

Sunset was a really nice clean camp which had plenty of sites capable of parking our 35ft 5th wheel and Dodge 3500 Truck and accomidated the road clearance needed when backing in. The sites are spaced out very well. However there are no dump facilities at Sunset, even for Gray water despite the rest rooms having sewer. While visiting the Aspen campground (which does have a dump station) I inadvertently drove over a short post I could not see and destroyed my steering stabilizer. It was near the information kiosk. I was looking at the sign and rolled forward a bit. I strongly recommend that if guide posts are installed for any reason they meet bumper height requirement of 16 to 20 inches, or be curb height. In front of the sign they serve no purpose.
We love sunset. We also really appreciated the camp host. Very helpful and they really work hard to keep everything clean especially the restrooms.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
