Loved this cabin. Very comfortable and clean. We were able to raft to the cabin and keep the raft roped up on shore and then float from the cabin to Big Creek the next day. It is fun to walk to the Northern Lights Saloon for dinner and entertainment. Polebridge Merchantile is an outstanding bakery.

great location, updated flooring, furniture and bedding. Hate going to outhouse in the dark. No internet.

As always, Ben Rover is a wonderful experience. Two things need immediate attention. The oven does not stay on. And one of the single bed mattresses has a hole in it and is full of mouse turds. That is a serious health hazard, essentially making that room unusable.

Cabin was clean and information accurate. No surprises. Great location on the river with a large meadow right next door perfect for star gazing. Convenient to Park entrance and we had a great time cross country skiing up towards Kintla lake. Plan to come back, perhaps in a different season and hope to bring family or friends. The only challenge is the pot-hole riddled road to get there!

One word, fun fun fun. Oops thats 3 words. Seriously, it was clean and comfortable and warm. What more could you ask for in February?

Facility was low on many things.- Bring extra of your own kitchen towels and washcloths, paper towels, some cleaning supplies.Recommend bringing a sheet or something to put on the beds before you sleep on them. There have been pack rats in the cabin. So make sure to keep all food in coolers and in cupboards, not out on the counters at night or when you leave the cabin.

The cabin was in good shape and stayed nice and warm in the January weather. Everything was in good working condition except the oven, which wouldn't stay lit. We skied to Bowman and to the Quartz Creek Campground, which was buried in snow but still a good long ski.

Ben Rover is a cozy get away with clean accommodations. Plan to pump your own water, navigate to the vaulted toilet in the dark, learn how to light the propane lantern lights and tou will enjoy this cabin.

Beautiful cabin & location! Cabin had everything I needed and more. Can't wait to stay again!

The Forest Service needs to maintain this cabin. One of the rooms has a pack rat living in. The pack rat runs through the walls. If it was my cabin, I would take care of it. Otherwise, it would have been a great experience. You should be refunding moneys to everyone that had to deal with the lack of competence from the Forest Service.

What a cozy cabin! Rooms let plenty of sunshine. Kitchen was well stocked, easy to do prep and the stove and oven worked great! Living room was large, furniture was very comfortable. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed our long awaited stay at the Ben Rover.

Girls weekend to get in some nordic skiing. So great that everyone had their own room. The room by the living room had the CO dector go off, probably doesn't have enough airflow without a window open. We had the wood stove going and the occupant had her propane light on as well.We were so impressed by the cleanliness, the quality of furniture and the new floors are beautiful. Lots of good quality wood available. The kitchen was well stocked. Would be nice to have a better stock of cleaning supplies, especially swiffer refills. Using a string mop that never really dries is kind of gross. We did see one mouse which we caught with a trap-not unexpected. It was a wonderful couple days.

This place was absolutely infested with mice.

We had a pleasant stay at Ben Rover. Nice to be close to the river for floating. We have stayed here and at Shnaus cabin a few times and I must say Ben Rover was very dirty this time. I'm not sure where it was in the cleaning cycle...I feel other guests are not doing their part when leaving.

There were mud puddles the size of swimming pools in the road & Polebridge bakery was closed, but we loved our time at Ben Rover. We have driven past many times & finally got to stay. What a cute & cozy cabin. Plenty of firewood was provided for the wood stove, the furniture was comfy, & the cabin was clean. We sat on the bench outside & listened to the river, we went snow showing several times, & we did a puzzle.

Great cabin near Polebridge with access to GNP. Only negative was a very icy parking area to the cabin and the bathroom. Otherwise, cabin was in great shape.

Love the cabin.. everything was good. Wish we had some sand in the parking lot and the path to the outhouse… really dangerous.. maybe just leave a few bags of sand in the wood shed..
The weather was horrid.. rained the whole time but that’s not your fault!!

Cabin was well stocked with the items we needed. We brought up some ceramic coffee mugs and glasses to leave there to add to the assortment of dishes.

Cozy, lovely place. Saw a grizzly in the river on the way from Columbia Falls.
