We chose to drive through Glacier NP on Camas road and avoid the 19 mile gravel road from Columbia Falls. This route included 2 miles of gravel. Because we did not have Going to the Sun passes, we entered Glacier NP after 3 pm, and needed to exit before 6 am. The campground itself was beyond our expectations, isolated, spacious sites, with a beautiful river running alongside. The host was available and helpful for any needs. There is water, no electricity, no dump. We camped in early July in a 25 ft Airstream.

The camp host, Pam was super helpful. The location is beautiful and we’ll-maintained.

Pam, the host, was amazing and really made us feel at home while we were there! We had a pretty hairy situation when we arrived with getting our 5th wheel through a particularly tight corner, and everyone was quick to jump in and help.

Adequate yet modest facilities - vault toilets, food boxes, drinking water and trash containers. Sites are large, providing separation from other campers. Host was friendly and helpful. The road to the campground is dirt and muddy, but this is camping, right?

Very nice campground. Good space between campsites. Little issues with bugs. The river of beautiful. We had mule deer in our site ever day. Very quiet campground. They do not have bear boxes for every site, you do have to share with your neighbor. We had site #5 and was very happy. I do recommend going into the campground via Camus Rd through Glacier. It's still a horrible gravel road, but only 2 miles really bad. The other way had 7 miles of torture. It's a great bar camp for going to Glacier. The camp host was friendly and helpful.

Excellent campsite near the river. 4x larger than I am used to.

This campground is quiet, family-friendly and beautiful! Right on the river and only about a 20 minute drive to Glacier National Park. You can't beat the location or the price. Would absolutely stay here again! Also, campground host Jim in 2020 was the best...he helped me when I locked my keys in my car at 7am on his day off!
