This campground is so beautiful. We went during the week and it was not crowded at all. We tent camped and found a nice flat area to pitch our tent. There was lots of shade. The bathroom was close and so was the water. We hope to return there when we are camping in the area.

Great spot!! There was a camp host who drove around in a golf cart checking in with folks and was selling fire wood ($7/bundle). There was a lot of people across all the sites, but Site 9 was a little secluded, sort of at the end of a cul de sac, but you could still hear neighbors. So not the best spot if you want off the grid and remote. But certainly a great spot for larger groups, families, and folks who don't mind hearing neighbors (at least in the summer). We were on the other side of the river, which was a little confusing on the online map but there was a water spigot close by to this campsite. Lots of space to spread out. You could easily have 2-3 tents across the site.

This campground was so fun! Very quiet, tucked away, and so pretty! Bugs were minimal in June. We did see a rattle snake but its nature and common for the area so be aware, teach your little ones about that! The creek was great, fun and refreshing to beat the heat! Camp hosts were very nice! My only complaint is that on our last night some campers ran their generator the entire night, and were very loud super late. Please follow campground rules, make camping enjoyable for everyone!

This was a pleasant surprise gem! Spot 3 was fantastic! The stream ran right through the back of it, perfect for older kiddos. Maybe a slight concern for smaller littles. Surprisingly not too buggy at all when we visited in early June. There were two rope swings which were a blast! It was well shaded for much of the day with tall trees all around.

Really nice campground away from the highway noise. Some fun areas to explore the streams.

This is an excellent, primitive campground. The spaces can be a bit tight and all are shaded. The natural beauty of the location keeps us coming back.

It's such a nice campsite for a little larger group. We had 4 cars, 6 people who slept over, and 4 who came for the evening. We camped here 8 years ago, just after my daughter got engaged. This time we had a little reunion remembering this campsite, which was largely unchanged. We took a photo of her and her husband in almost the same spot (the trees have grown so we couldn't do the exact same spot. Thanks for saving the trees! I brought a 5 gallon bucket (with lid) and scooped up as much of the ash that had been dumped to one side of the grill as I could fit. I was sad to find a broken bottle piece in the middle of it. We really enjoy the rope swings you can find as you walk along the stream. We felt safe. We had nice interactions with other campers strolling by.

Maple Grove was a wonderful surprise. Its been hotter than Hades in the desert, but when we pulled up to site 10, the share from the mesa and trees kept it feeling more than comfortable. If I could fix one thin - keeping the cows out of the campground. We had 2 picnic tables completely cover in cow diarrhea, it was all over the drive, and made camping challenging. We live on open range, so were use to it, but its not a pretty site to see why cooking out.

A very family friendly camping area. Lots of trails, a creek to play in, and shade! We will come again!

I always love this campground, very clean, great summer temperatures, few bugs, pretty scenery. New camphosts this year..they are lovely. The squarles were a little out of control this year.

Camp site 1 and 2 were a lot bigger than 3 but 3 had great access to the stream. Im glad I reserved all 3 for my group. It made for a wonderful family reunion.also the trails were gorgeous and the finishing was good:)

The camp host didnt have our reservation and gave our spot away to someone else. I had the email confirmation and the correct dates but he claimed he didnt have it. He had to stick us in the group site which was being occupied by other campers. Thankfully, the people in the group site were very nice and let us share the space.

This campground was overall a good location, nestled up against a canyon wall.

Gem of a campground. Shaded sites, crisp clear creek running through the campground. Incredible view of the valley and then the impressive sheer cliff. We visited twice in last ten days and plan on returning . Ralph the campground host is a treat, informative and knowledgeable about the area.

Running water and large trees, very nice! Pretty busy but a fun place. Family asked to book two nights next time.
@LarryW4240620 · Camped on Jun 28, 2023
One of the most beautiful campgrounds` in the state. Could be improved with garbage disposal units in campground. Available water was too far from individual campsites. Most campsites were too small for a 40' Motorhome, but the one we did get was more than large enough for two motorhomes.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
