I Love Love Love Loon Lake. I go every year in August. The lake is amazing and perfect temperature to swim in. Some of the campsites are on the smaller side, so if you have a lot of tents it will get crowded. The bathrooms could be better and the lower loops have older bathrooms with huge amount of flies in them.See you next year Loon Lake!

Martin, the camp host, was very nice and kept checking on things (bathroom, beach clean-up etc.). We enjoyed the beautiful clean water of the Lake, Campgrounds and trails.

Love Loon Lake.
Lake is huge, so most of the time you can find a private area to hang out next to the lake without anyone else (except on the weekends).
Water is crystal clear and warm in August.
Most sites are good size, but some a small so be prepared if you have a large group or a lot of tents.
Bathrooms in first and second loop are older and attract of ton of flies, but third loop and equestrian loop has the better bathrooms.
Be back next year!

Very nice campsite 😊 just unfortunate we couldn't make a campfire because of the restrictions, but over all very fun experience
