Great campsite, bathrooms needed a little more attention at the end of the weekend.

First the pros... Beautiful forest, nice campground/sites in general, excellent kayaking on lake, friendly staff. Cons... most sites are kinda tight and not so long (so trailers are a little challenging). Pit toilets are pretty rough. Unbearable mosquitoes... this literally drove us out of here a day early. I wasn't sure if it's just seasonal/timing or not, but in July this year (2023) it was just too much to handle and I've been camping for 50+ years. It's a long way in on Ice House road (road is in good shape) and there is no cell coverage (you can drive about 5 minutes out of the campground and get coverage if you need it).

Restrooms were bad. Lots of mosquitoes when you try to cook something. Unbearable mosquitoes in the morning and in the evening. I have stayed in many campgrounds, this was the worst experience ever. Because of mosquitoes, we checked out early at 6am instead of our planned checkout at 11am. This campground needs to be fixed, it is not very clean.
