We love Pine Valley. Its one of our favorite camping spots and one we come back to every year. They keep the campground amazingly clean including the pit toilets.

Campgrounds were so nice and very clean. We appreciated our host checking in on us and seeing to our needs. They were very nice. We love the Dean Gardner campground at Pine Valley and already have our next trip planned. See you in a couple of months!

Pine Valley Reservoir is our favorite camping area in the summer time. The Santa Clara river walk is the best!

A great campground. One of the most beautiful forests I've seen. Loved the paved Santa Clara River trail. Some fun hiking and biking trails. Campsite was great, paved pad, picnic table on cement slab. Restrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen for pit toilets. Wished there were at least some sites with power and water. Busy place. Some sites are much better for larger rigs.

Great campground. Paved parking areas. Picnic tables on cement slab. Beautiful forest.Santa Clara paved river walk is outstanding! Some great biking.Wish they had power hookups. Really clean restrooms. Friendly camp host.

What a nice getaway! We've camped at Pine Valley before and stayed in the Yellow Pine campgrounds. We loved it. This time we camped in Dean Gardner and loved being closer to the reservoir and the walking paths were wonderful! Great camp host! We will be back. Such a nice relief from the heat.

The scenery was exquisite, the campground host was attentive and helpful and kept the area spotless, and the space was level and well maintained. The signs along the walking path really helped us learn about the area. Our two favorites spots were the bench with the sign "Look for trout" where we sat and watched the trout swimming, and the "Smell the tree" where we learned that Ponderosa Pine trees bark smells like butterscotch. Our favorite activity turned out to be sitting by the fire ring and watching the stars come out. Clear skies and no light pollution.

Great facilities, lots of trees and shade. Very well maintained and level camp site, not far from walking trails along a beautiful stream and lake. Fishing is allowed in the lake.
