We just stayed here for five days and were surprised to find the campground was in a dead zone. It was glorious. Without digital distractions my wife and I were able to reconnect instead of hiding behind our phones. We were also able to get to know our fellow campers The campground host, Dick, was wonderful. He kept us informed of weather and campfire status throughout trip. He was very attentive and kept the place running well. This despite his management tasking him to tasks at other campgrounds all over the valley. He is a major reason for the five-star review.

Our family has been longtime patrons of Navajo Lake Campground, having visited for many years. However, our recent visits, including the most recent one, have left us disappointed due to a decline in the quality of service and facilities. This year, we encountered the worst hosts we have ever encountered at a campground. It was evident that they lacked the attentiveness and professionalism that we had come to appreciate in the past. Furthermore, the bathrooms were not properly cleaned during our stay, which was a significant concern for us. It was disheartening to see such neglect in maintaining a basic necessity for campers.Upon our arrival, we approached one of the hosts to inquire about the possibility of changing our assigned site, as Site 27 seemed inadequate for our trailer. However, we were met with an unhelpful response. Without allowing us to fully explain our situation, the host quickly directed us to Site 12, stating that they did not want anyone camping next to them. This interaction left us feeling disregarded and unwelcome. It is worth mentioning that during our previous visit, we were informed that the hosts were absent due to a personal problem. While we understood the circumstances, it was frustrating to not have hosts available to address any concerns or provide assistance when needed. However, we refrained from leaving a review at that time, hoping for a better experience in the future.Despite our disappointment, we acknowledge that Navajo Lake Campground offers natural beauty and recreational activities that continue to attract visitors. However, improvements must be made in terms of host selection and training, as well as the maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities. In conclusion, our recent visits to Navajo Lake Campground were marred by inadequate hosts, uncleaned bathrooms, and an unwelcoming attitude.Thanks.

The site was next to the road which wasn’t that terrible but a very, very loud and drunk family stayed up all night partying and whooping it up and absolutely trashed the bathrooms with food, feces and toilet paper. It wasn’t just my family/campsite that was effected. They also had a huge campfire, which was irresponsible. I am not even sure if the camp hosts were onsite to address any issues. We shortened our trip for these reasons. Camping should be lots of fun including staying up late and enjoying friends and family around a campfire as long as it includes being courteous to your camping neighbors.

What a great area, we had a great time even though the lake level was quite low there was get fishing and we were able to use our paddle boards quite nicely.
The lodge and Duck Creek Village are close and great sources of many things.
The one thing I must comment on is that even though the camp host has tried to emphasize to his managers the need for control of flies in the lakeside restrooms because of the low lake levels and has tried many remedies, the flies are a big issue.

I love this campsite. The lake is gorgeous and the drive to the campsite is through a beautiful mountain range of Utah. The night sky is very starry because of how far it is from light pollution and how high it is in elevation. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. To be honest, I didn't want to leave a review because I don't want this place to become too popular. The camp hosts sells firewood. Bring your Kayaks if you have them. The campsite isn't too far from Zion or Bryce, a little over an hour from each and is about 20 minutes from Cedar Breaks National Monument. The only downside is that the campsites don't have that much shade anymore. A good amount of trees were cut down in the campsite probably to keep the fire pits more fire safe. I wanted to return to this campsite this year but will have to wait since my large extended family wanted to join me camping this year and this campground only has single family sites.

We had a pleasant experience overall not much to complain about except the lack of showers. Camp host was nice, purchased wood, and no problems really. The lake is scenic and calm. My kids even paddles a small inflatable boat on the water. Not too far from Bryce and Zion. Used as a homemade.

We reserved campsite number 27! This was one of the few that was reservable as majority of the other spots are first come first serve, and they were all naturally taken. While our site wasn’t directly by the lake as some of the others, it was still a great spot. Plenty of room for three tents, right across the bathroom, and a water spigot was accessible on the site. The parking here is also a huge help as you can park directly at your site unlike some. The other campsites have a designated parking area and it’s a far walk to haul your equipment. Number 27 is directly by the road however, so you can hear cars but it isn’t too bad late at night. The only real downside of this campground is the lack of privacy; the sites were really on top of each other and you can hear the noises from just about everyone near you. But it is a beautiful area and there are some great hikes nearby! The hosts (Ozzie and his wife) were so sweet and sell firewood for $6.00 if you need any. Bring a canopy if you have one as well- there isn’t that much shade on the actual sites! I’d definitely come back and reserve this site or number 25!
