Navajo Lake is a beautiful place. It's at 9000ft so plan accordingly.

Our 1st time camping here. We had a wonderful 7 days at Navajo Lake (lower campground). All of the sites had a great view and easy access to the lake and they were in excellent condition. The restrooms were the cleanest we've seen in a while and well stocked. Navajo Lake is full from the ample snowfall this last winter. We came mostly to kayak and we weren't disappointed by the experience. We had some rain for a few days but had plenty of opportunity to kayak most of the lake and enjoy all of the quiet and the calm that the lake has to offer. Day trips to Cascade Falls (close by) and Bryce Canyon (not so close) were wonderful, too. The dump station 2 miles west at the Te-Ah campground has 2 dump ports with only 1 working. The camp host said the other was blocked. Made for an awkward dump (the hose had to go over a curb). "No biggie". Must be flexible while camping :).We'll be going back to Navajo Lake. At 9000 feet with the cooler temps and quiet slowness, it is a great place to beat the summer heat.

Great site, I just wish my particular campsite wasn’t full of trash when I arrived. I cleaned up after the previous occupants because I didn’t want to get blamed for littering but I’d wish the camp hosts did a better it of enforcement or upkeep.

Lovely campground right on the Lake. Friendly staff, clean, large sites, and about an hour away from both Bryce and Zion. What's not to love.
