Well the campsite was amazing! We found the best spot ever and will be back. However the camp hosts were horrible. They were very unfriendly, wouldn't even wave back at you. They kept driving back and forth past our spot just to look for anything to complain about. We had nothing against camp rules. One explained that they were tired of being there and wanted to go back home after a long summer. We were reserved for the last 2 days of the season. The camp hosts shut the bathroom down a day early so they didn't have to deal with it on the last day of the season. They really need new youthful friendly people to host that camp next year. They were not welcoming at all. Other than that, it was an awesome place to camp.

One of my favorite places on the planet and this spot is very special to me. Rich, the camp host, is just the nicest guy and very helpful. 10/10

All I would ask is that folks with generators keep in mind the 10p to 6a quiet time. Generators running at midnight are quite annoying. Other than that, love to go there regularly.

The sites are nice and a bit of room between each. A shaded, roomy area. Lots of ATV guests but it is quiet and restful!

Really great campsites that are close to town, amenities, and such beautiful country. We stayed in Loop A then moved to Loop D for the last day of the season. We easily had the two best sites out of each loop. The first site Loop A 26 was clean and in a great location. This site, 87, was left poorly by the previous campers so we had a cleanup session before laying out camp. Small footpaths go up the hillside where you can stroll for a little walk, it’s just really pretty. The neighboring camp was SO loud. Let me say that again.. SO Loud after quiet hours. But we get it, last day of the season right? On that last day we caught a flat leaving one of the trails, which delayed our packing up camp. The camp host came by kind of rudely to tell us to get out, which was unlike our previous encounters with him. He ended that conversation by telling us “Vamanos” which threw me for a loop. Just because I’m brown doesn’t mean I’m Hispanic? Chalk it up to ignorance or whatever but we still got the white superiority vibes here. We’ll cherish the beauty of the place but the ugliness of the people makes us sad!! Camp hosts are meant to make people feel welcomed, not make them weigh their wonderful experiences and memories against their dignity. Dropped a star for that reason, we’ll give it a few seasons before considering a return.

Beautiful campsite. Unfortunately, there were little pieces of garbage like coat hangers and paper products strewn about the campsite. The restrooms were fairly clean but one of them had some toilet paper on the floor. My issues are not with the camp host, but with the campers who should no better.

Great well maintained campground with large private spaces. No hookups. Drinking water available at nearby spigot. Water filling station and dump station available at entrance to campground. My only complaint would be that the bathrooms weren't as clean as I would have hoped. That being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
