Really nice campsite at the end of the loop. Its meant for larger groups and there a several spots you could put up tents. There are two extra large tables with bench seats and a table for prepping. David was a very gracious host and checked on us each day. We really enjoyed our weekend!

I loved this campground. It is beautiful among the pines and well kept. I really liked the campground host's friendliness and the care he gave the facilities.

The Cedar Canyon Campground is, in general, a fine campground, with the only real problem being traffic noise due to its location just off the highway between Cedar City and both Panguitch and Brianhead. (Yes, there was no water this year, and no fires allowed thanks to the current drought conditions, but that's not unique to this campground.) However, this particular campsite (004) is arguably the worst site in the campground. It has NO shade, not over the table, not over the firepit, not over the best place to put a tent. What it does have is a lot of dust, thanks to the lack of a pine needle carpet. I strongly encourage camping here (I'll be back next year), but not at site 004.

We camped two nights, one with reservation, one with first come first served. Camp sites were well maintained, getting harder and harder to find for tent camping with the state, DWR, eliminating, pushing for more RV sites, $$. Pit or vaulted toilets were recently emptied, we know we saw the truck come into the campground. Camp host was friendly but intense, worried about us using a well enclosed covered candle as a table light when we also had a campfire, (we brought in our own wood and water to extinguish afterwards knowing the campsites had no water). Candle was well under our control and extinguished. I know the importance of the little things I have been camping my whole entire life sad others are irresponsible and all of us need to be admonished for it. The Sky's at the campsite at night are beautiful and perfect for Stargazing!! We set up our telescope and had a beautiful night looking at the stars without city light with dark sky's! It was a Beautiful Starry Night and we were able to capture some Beautiful memorable photos of the Starry sky! Not far from Navajo Reservoir, Lake, we went paddle boarding both days making for a wonderful trip, camping experience.

Nice clean campground near cedar breaks

Campground and toilet was immaculate. The campground host, Dave, was real friendly and made us feel comfortable. Some road noise but it quiets down in the evening so it was not an issue at all. Real close to Cedar Breaks National Monument.

Beautiful campground. Camphost David was awesome. Communication from recreation.gov about water outage was appreciated and received in a timely manner. Campground is close to so many activities. Our family loved it.

I dont remember his name but the camp host was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and being a former Marine is always a good thing. But the facilities were the cleanest I have seen ever and the campsites were very tidy. Job well done.

The host was friendly and informative, appreciated them letting us know about the bugs, water issues, and other related items.The bathrooms need to have the septic addressed, and the water pump was broken, generators were ran to make up for the broken pump. The road noise is not the campgrounds fault, but there is a fair amount, very close to the road.

The campsite is small and quiet. The caretaker is awesome, very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very clean and well cared for. The campground itself is close to the road, which is loud at times as it is a mountain pass road with a pretty good incline - so cars/trucks are working hard up the grade. At night though, it's fairly quiet. Also, if you do no know the area, this campsite is at a decent altitude (8100 ft) and local forecasted temperatures from Cedar City should be adjusted appropriately. Plan on temperatures 10-20 degrees cooler.

This is a great spot to do an overnight stop but it's not really a destination campground. The proximity to the road does allow for traffic noise during the day but all is quiet after dark. It's only about 10 minutes from Cedar Breaks NM. Not all sites are RV friendly so make sure you do your research before booking if you are in a larger rig. I would use this campground again.

Road noise distracting. Very clean restroom. Comfortable sites.

Very clean, beautiful scenery, too close to the road. Traffic noise was fairly constant

Great campground but the bathrooms need to cleaned way more often as in maintaining of the septic tanks. Flies everywhere this year when it was very clear last year.

Great camp. Too bad there seems to be no hiking trails extending from the campground?

Great, clean campground with a nice fire pit. Great proximity to Kolob Canyons entrance to Zion!

Sandwiched between the big bend in Highway 14, road construction and traffic noise provided contradiction to the beautiful forest setting. Be careful with some campsites as the drainage area of the adjacent creek might "dampen" your tent space.
@InaD7517979 · Camped on Jul 21, 2022 at Campsite #19
We were all in agreement that this was one of the most pristinely beautiful sites that we have ever camped at. We were privileged to have a crystal clear creek running through the site and a lovely meadow to look over in the evenings. There were only two factors that prevented me from giving this site a five star + rating, and that was the close proximity of the highway, as well as the fact that the only two restrooms were spread out at quite a distance from our campsite. The camp hosts both deserve a top rating as far as their helpfulness and professionalism is concerned. We will definitely return next year, hopefully when the roadworks are completed.

The campsite is beautiful and we'll maintained. The host is awesome and super helpful. The campsites are very close to a well traveled road. The big trucks tend to use their Jake Break when heading downhill, so expect lots of noise in the wee hours of the morning.

Road construction that was obviously going to be there all season should have closed down this campground for the year. Mentioned where we were at the Cedar Breaks visitor center and that was the Ranger's same viewpoint. Nice little campground, but very loud, very early. WAS NOT HAPPY

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
