Enjoyed spaces between sites & lifting of campfire ban at end of season.

We had a very positive experience except for the fact that 4 couples and a bunch of very disruptive and poorly managed kiddos moved into the site right next to the far restrooms. They were drinking heavily, crude and very disrespectful of their fellow campers and their campsites. At least three couples (including us) left just before dark Tuesday evening to avoid confrontations. We all left early and gave up our reservations. It was a very disappointing early end to our vacation.
Other than that, we had a great time. Everyone else was respectful and the campsites and facilities were well maintained.
If possible, we would appreciate a refund for our last two evenings that we were unable to enjoy. Thanks for all you do to keep up these campgrounds.

We have been coming to Three Creeks Lake every year in August for over 30 years. Like many other places it's getting very popular and now difficult to get a more lengthy stay due to the newish reservation system which only allows you to reserve the 3-4 days around the weekend. This year everyone needed a permit to hike the Tam McArthur Rim trail which was a major surprise for us. We didn't have one....and this is part of our tradition, now with kids and grandkids. All part of getting heavily used I guess - much needed but sad for us old-timers. We were also sad to see that so many camp sites were empty, even though they were reserved. So many people wanting to get a site and not able to - but many sites empty due to no shows. The place is beautiful - bathrooms have been improved the last few years. The road into the Driftwood Campground has needed work for about 20 years but is passable. The lake is small and lovely - great for kayaking and SUPing with children.

We enjoyed the site. The only downfall was no garbage service. No garbage was around but people were not responsible for their dog poop bags. They were everywhere.

Once again drunk loud obnoxious people ruined two nights of sleep. Generators from huge RVs took away from the nature experience. This is a remote sight and there should be NO generators allowed. Someone needs to monitor drunk belligerent people at campsites. It’s simply not safe.

Beautiful campsites! All are very close to the lake, which has a nice, kid-friendly beach. The inlet creeks were fun to explore. We saw deer, osprey, Stellar's jays, and the two bald eagles that call the lake their home. We'll definitely be back provided we can snag another reservation. The beach area did get pretty busy with families driving up for the day, but things were very quiet in the mornings and evenings.
