We found out just before we left to go camping it would be record breaking temperatures. It was HOT! Thankfully we spent the majority of our days in the lake. The lake doesnt allow motor crafts or dogs so it was a nice relaxing vacation. The site we were at was right next to the pit toilet which was in desperate need of being emptied.

We stayed in a group spot. It was lovely and well shaded. The whole group loved swimming and hanging out in the lake.

We usually love Scout Lake but there was tons of logging done and the site we usually stay in looked like a logging vehicle drove right through it ruining where we put our tent. The lake had a bunch of downed trees too which looked bad. Additionally the pit toilet near us was filled with water and locked so we had to walk far away for the restroom.
