Close to Sisters while attending quilt show. Nice large campsites.

The campground manager was a lovely lovely human being. We actually got site number 9 which meant that there were no other campers in our view as we looked towards sisters.

This campground was a great base camp for our short exploration of Sisters and Bend. I was really grateful for all the shade the trees provided during the heat wave that happened. The camp was quiet. The camp host was friendly. The hand pump for the water was lots of fun for my kids and it was nice to have cold water when it was so hot. With the springs running through the campground I thought mosquitoes might be a problem, but they weren’t bad. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The campground feels very secluded and quite among Ponderosa pines. A forest service road (NF-1012) passes close to some campsites, but it is not heavily travelled. There is usually a hand pump for potable water, but this was not in service due to COVID. Easy access to the town of Sisters, just 4 miles away.
