The camp host had a dog that was not friendly. The bathrooms were very unsanitary and in poor condition. The bathrooms are in major need of repair.

19 and 21 are the. best sites. They back up to an open area with trails leading to the cave. Wonderful camp host. Quiet campground with lots of young families. The water pumps out slightly yellow. Bring lots of water to drink. Pump water should be fine for dishes.

What a great place to camp. Clean outhouses, quiet campers, pleasant camp director.

Sadly could not actually stay because of the Bedrock Fire starting a few days before. We didn't know about the fire and the intense smoke until we were about an hour out heading south. I wish Recreation dot Gov had a system in place to alert folks with reservations when hazardous situations like such happen. Surely an automated system would be easy to implement if linked up to the NWS or INCIweb. Hope to stay there eventually, it looked nice.

Wonderful campground, private well spaced sites set amid towering ponderosa pines. Helpful camp host. Pit toilets, water spigot. 4 miles from sisters, Oregon. Wide variety of activities near by, hiking, boating, rock climbing , shopping, cultural and more.

Well laid-out, no-frills little campground. We didn't use the "facilities", but it was clean and fairly quiet. At night you could see the headlights on the highway from far off, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us. Mid-week it was pretty deserted. Would camp again. Five minutes to Sisters. Used the dump station at Creekside Campground in town on the way out: $10 self-pay, and, since it's located amidst a fair number of campsites, you get an audience ;)

We love this quiet little campground, especially the springs, where you can sit and watch tons of birds coming and going in the dry months when there isn't a lot of water anywhere else. You get to the springs by parking at the bottom of the hill where you come in (not the day use area, and before the parking for the bathrooms.) Take the trail about a quarter mile at most, and you'll come to the springs. In wetter months this spring is what feeds the creeks that go through the campground.

Great family friendly campsite near Sisters and a bunch of scenic highlights within easy reach - Smith Rock, hwy 242, Metolius River etc. Brought water. Easy to be distant from other visitors and minimize COVID-19 transmission risk. Friendly host.
