We come here annually. Great view of the river. Drawback is no running potable water.

Lovely, peaceful, clean, spread-out campground alongside the clear consistent Metolius River. The ONLY drawback is no water at the campground.

Someone was in my reserved space. By the time someone came and told them it was my space, they were there 20 hours into my time of two days. Where I had to park, people were very loud. Dogs were running loose and nothing was done about that. There was no camp host.

Toilet was stinking, but I like the campground. The tent campers were a bit loud. The space was fine for me, downhill. The people trooping through on the trail didn't bother too much. Great area.

Be aware that the river trail goes right through everyone's site, a few feet from you. People could take the campsite road during that small portion of trail to give campers privacy, but they do not. Also, there are loud RV generators to ruin an otherwise gorgeous place.

Lovely spot. Hot, hot and no drinking water on hand. A little odd to have the trail and hikers walking through your campsite, but everyone was very nice.

Site was large with plenty of space from the adjacent sites. Also had direct river access and a beautiful view.

Unfortunately a trail runs directly through the site so hikers frequently walked through. When we checked it, it seems the trail actually ends at the campground but continues as an access trail to connect camp sites, but the hikers continued on anyway. It was frustrating having 30 or so strangers walk through the middle of our site all day, when we came for some seclusion and an escape from people (especially because people naturally feel the need to talk as they walk through, ask about our day, etc, which is fine and polite, except again, it was over 30 people and from 8am until 6pm, and we wanted to be left alone)

A beautiful campground. Lots of fishermen on the river. Hiking trail is right through the campsite, but everyone was respectful and mellow when we were there midweek. HIghly recommended!
