campground bathrooms were very very clean. well taken care of campground. However, the fact that all of the good sites were reserved, yet the place was empty, ticks me off. the reservation system needs to change.

I would rate this particular site a 0 star if I could. The site was terribly slanted. This site should not be advertised for those who have travel trailers. We could not level our rig so we just left. Very disappointed.

Campground is in need of maintenance and some overhauling. Road through campground is deteriorated. Our particular site was very difficult to get RV level due to RV site being poorly constructed and not maintained. The extra boat trailer parking is completely built backwards……. If you follow the arrows directing the one-way traffic through the boat parking area, the parking lanes are painted at tye wrong angle to back in and drop a trailer. One positive note, the fee collection box was broke, so they were not collecting fees.
This area of the lake get a strong afternoon wind almost every day, so beaching a boat is extremely difficult without taking a beating on the boat due to the rocky shallow shore line. The sunsets are beautiful though.

The camp space was terrible the pictures that we booked the campground on from was wrong it was so uneven I had to park 50 feet from my picnic table and my trailer was still very uneven we left after 3 days and move to Waldo Lake Campground I think my money should be refunded for the days that I didn't use it. Web page says slightly uneven it was a ten-foot drop in grade. Was very unhappy and should be posted as a tent Campground site only

2/3rd's of the sites are very close to Route 58 and you can hear the traffic at night and its very loud.
Also, there are a LOT of fallen trees that have yet to be removed and it looks messy.
Some spaces are extremely small and may only allow for a small tent and 1 car.
The sites by the water are larger for the most part.
Space 10 is ok... but a little bit on a slope. Also missing the grill from the fire pit.

Try to get campsites directly on the lake. The hwy is right on the edge so there is lots of freeway noise. Also note there is no water, so be sure to pack enough.
The lake bed is rocky but nice for a dip.

Over all the camp was nice. But not much of a family campground more of a boaters campground. We had a three night Reservation, but we only stayed one night and end up leaving the next morning there was just to many mosquitoes.
