We were right on the lakeside with easy access to the water. Great boating and fishing available.

This location is so very BEAUTIFUL on one of Oregons wonderful and NATURAL lakes, not a man made reservoir.
So I feel saddened to give such a low rating.
I am usually not one to complain BUT for $16 a night one would at least expect to get water. The road thru campground needs some serious maintenance as it has long been neglected. Don’t know where the funds we paid are going but not toward this campground!!
Campsite was not cleaned from previous campers.
There was also a LOT of trees blown down and made the area look very cluttered and messy.
There was no host on-site.
On a positive note the vault toilet was very clean.

So if we are expected to shell out $40 for two nights (this includes $8 for having to make an online reservation, another way to charge more for recreating, again I don’t know where that money is going!!) I would expect more. So without the basic amenities, like water, PERHAPS the price should be less per night as the quality was not stellar. I also wasn’t expecting to be Boondocking and having to pay for it. Hope this gets read by those higher up the chain of command and they think more about providing what we pay for rather than their paychecks.

Our first Campsite was nice but some people were a little loud and that was a bummer. they ran their generator for hours in the evening and played music during dinner time. We moved to another site the last night and it was amazing. Quiet and the view was spectacular. The facilities were clean. Hosts were friendly.

The view at the campsite took our breath away. We were grateful to have our own little slice of beach access. And enjoyed some lazy time on the lake. It made for a perfect little weekend getaway.
