Loved the camp host but didn’t seem like there was much we could do to stop or even slow down RUDE out of state campers speeding backwards looking for camping w/o horses! Plus a large group 8-9 sites were a no show but because of Recreation.gov booking stuff our group that was all spread out couldn’t move closer to each other and to the best sites that sat empty for a week! I think multiple sites free booking (work party’s) should be limited to the less desirable & spread out sites. And/Or released the day after a no show!

The camp had just opened a week prior to our stay. OET was there that weekend clearing trails. There was still snow up at Mirror lakes.

WE had a wonderful time. Campsites were great, corrals are great. The only thing I would like to see changed is when we were coming into our spot we went all the way around the camp. Once we passed the big meadow and had to go around the corner we had a problem. We have a long LQ trailer and I had to do some fancy going back and forth to get around the corner. If you could take out a tree or two and that stump it would be great. So keep that in mind all your campers with long LQ trailers. We are coming again this summer and I will not go around the loop I will try coming in from up above to get into our spot. But the camp is great and so were our rides. Thanks so much for having the horse park.
