Camped in site 20 the third weekend of September. Great weather and no bees. The site was very nice but one of the 4 stalls in the steel corral had a gate that needs repair and could not be latched. We didn't need all the stalls so it wasn't a big problem for us. The site is level and pretty wide and grassy so parking and setting up our LQ trailer was easy. The camp host didn't really check in with us but the toilets seemed to be kept clean and restocked.

WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO QUINN MEADOWS HORSE CAMP FOR 10 YEARS NOW AND LOVE IT!! SO HAPPY ABOUT THE HORSE PEN IMPROVEMENTS. I AM HOWEVER VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT NONE HORSE PEOPLE BEING ALLOWED TO STAY AT OUR AMAZING "HORSE CAMP"!!! ALLOT OF THEM HAVE NO IDEA THAT SOME OF THE THINGS THEY DO CAN BE AN ISSUE FOR A HORSE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT "HORSE PEOPLE". THERE ARE A TON MORE PEOPLE CAMPS THAN THERE ARE HORSE CAMPS. ESPECIALLY AS NICE AS QUINN THAT THEY CAN STAY IN. I'M PRETTY SURE THE "PEOPLE CAMP" PEOPLE WOULDN'T BE VERY HAPPY IF WE MOVED INTO THERE CAMP. ACTUALLY THAT PROBABLY WON'T BE ALLOWED. The camp hostess was wonderful, clean campground. Loved everything except the trails. Nothing had been cleared, so it made it harder to get to our destinations. I know the pandemic caused a lot of problems with clearing, but all in all I'll be back next year.
