Quinn meadows is a great place to camp and ride your horse. The camp host was very knowledgeable about trails and a pleasure to talk with.

This horse camp is very well set up and a beautiful location. Very peaceful and has everything we needed. The camp host was very helpful and pleasant to chat with. Hope she is working there next year because we plan to come back every year we can.

The website to reserve is horrible but the camp is great! Great host and wonderful place

I appreciated the Camp Host's friendly helpfulness. The camp was clean, including the vault restrooms and camp sites. I observed a Deschutes Recreation worker repairing a picnic table between camper occupancy. I followed a trail for a 2 mile round trip to the Quinn River cold springs. It was great to see water bubbling out of lava rock and forming a clear, cold river. The metal corrals for the horses are a wonderful improvement installed by Oregon Equestrian Trails volunteers and funded by grants and donations. Several groups of volunteers cleared trails in 2021 but more catching up on trail clearing is needed as the 2020 state-wide Corona Virus shut down kept volunteers off the trails in 2020.

Quinn Meadows is a beautiful place to camp with horses. The trail system is diverse and well maintained. Camp is scenic, comfortable and safe. We will be back!

I am extremely disappointed in what Quinn Meadow has become. It is no longer a safe haven for horse owners but a free-for-all campsite with no rules, no one to enforce the rules if there were any and an attitude from corporate of "who cares" ! My last trip to Quinn Meadow was August 2019 where campers showed up in all kinds of rigs from VW Busses to SUV's and no horse trailers or horses. I saw a drone flying around investigating individual campsites, gas chainsaws being used and general disregard for any & all regs regarding this once pristine, rural horses only campsite. Campers arriving @ all hours of the night to "sneak in" and set up without anyone noticing. Harley riders camping and the poor camp host has no balls and no authority in which to tell people this is a horse only campground. Horse camps are closing all over Oregon and it's a shame to see those that are left be given up to all campers regardless of an equine connection or not. I understand a California Land Management Company has taken over for Hoodo and it has gone to hell in one season. I doubt I'll ever be back and will seek peace & quiet @ a real horse camp where horse owners respect one another as well as tradition and the rules.
