My friend and I had a nice time at Quinn Meadows last week. The camp host was very nice and helpful. The camp is well kept up. I love that they put actual gates on the corrals, not just chains like at some of the other camps. Keeps my horse from thinking theres a way out.

Our favorite campground to take the horses, so many options to ride, especially if you are willing to haul to nearby trailheads. Only “complaint” was that there was a gal camp hopping there, the host was aware of her presence, and this gal was taking stuff from camps she thought were abandoned. We had 2 sites, and my mom left a day early - it was hot so we opted to take down the tarp over her pens when we returned from a little outing to Elk Lake. We were pretty shocked to find the tarp was cut from its twine and stolen (the thief left the twine mess of course). What if she had just been out for a ride at a trailhead? This gal came up to us the night before and asked if we could leave her ice and anything else, just kind of make us feel like she was a freeloader. I just hope in the future they can weed out people like that and tell them to hit the road, because now it’s hard to leave camp and not worry that we will return to things missing. Can’t exactly chain down and lock a shade tarp.

Camp host was amazing! Camp was great! Amenities awesome! Gorgeous views, clean quiet camp!!
