We were in 10 & 11, two families (one couple, one couple + kiddo) camping together, and they sites were so big we ended up sharing #11 and still had plenty of room. Its right off Twin Lakes road maybe 30-40 with some coverage but not enough to pee on that side during the day. Traffic noise wasnt too terrible, even on leaving day (we stayed a day later) but one guy did have to honk / brake due to some deer in the road and youll wanna make sure the pups dont go too far. The site stays cool under the trees with the breeze coming up from Wickiup, which is a short 3-4 min walk away to see some cool sunsets and a fogbow over Wickiup one crisp AM. Its deceiving tho bc its at least 10-15* more when you go to South Twin so it almost feels too cold to swim. Labor day weekend, we were the only ones in the upper area. I think everyone left bc of the rain. It rained only a little our second night and we were pretty protected by trees. We did get raided by chipmunks pretty bad when we left to the lake for a bit- lesson learned- and they kept the dogs alert, the younger one anxious. The coyotes woke us up first thing in the morning after our friends with the dogs left. The main restroom was fine, Ive seen worse. Found the other mens restroom had a flushing toilet and a handsink. Water was on when we were there. Camp firepits were decent and have a grate. It does have a picnic table. I would look for this site again for sure. Have fun!

The campsite was pretty and the toilets were fine but there was no water and there were a number of people disperse camping by the water and they brought their atvs and boy did they have a fun time driving back and forth all night. Pack in your water. Bring your earplugs.
