Well kept sites and easy access to the lake. My only complaint was the Bathroom was infested with flies!

Campground was clean and quite (with the normal generator campers that go camping to watch TV). Lots of ants though.

Some sites have access to lake. No sites are on lake shore as map might indicate. Trees between sites and lake.
Lake had algae bloom, hard to see the logs and trees lurking beneath the surface. Great bird life to view.

This place is a mess. They cut down a lot of trees over the winter and just left the logs and branches all over the place. It’s a massive fire hazard and looks awful. There are huge piles of branches and pine needles everywhere. A lot of the great shade trees are gone. There is one concrete picnic table. The rest are splintered wood and falling apart. This is what we pay our taxes for? The forest service has ignored all the dead trees around this campground for years. It’s a shame, and they should be embarrassed to call this “forest management.”
