Campsites were clearly marked and ready. Restrooms were stocked and clean. Rangers were friendly and informative

North Twin Lake campground was well maintained, clean restroom and very quiet in the evenings with no generators. The fishing was outstanding due to the fact that ODFW stocked the lake during our stay.

This lake is gorgeous anytime of year and day, though sunrise and night time are my favorite. Especially when the sky is clear. I have Verizon and usually can get a text through but not much more. Day use fills very quick so go claim your beach space early. There are less mosquitoes here than other places close by, even South Twin and Crane Prairie. I’m allergic so this is super important to me. Lately camping hasn’t been regulated much, so if you can’t get a spot online but are able to drive over anyways, your likely to find a spot that’s been reserved but sits empty. If there isn’t anyone camping (no tent set up or otherwise looking occupied) in the spot by check in time the day after the reservation (2pm) it’s technically forfeited and up for grabs.

Arrived Wed June 22 - reservation signage on campsites were only written thru June 19 and never updated during our stay. The trash bin in the campground was overflowing and not emptied until June 24. Didn't see a campground host.

We had site 13. Reasonable shade, lovely view of the lake. Small, quiet, family friendly campground. The lake was perfect for swimming and paddling, pleasant water temp and clean.

The only poor marks I would give is for the mountain of trash that quickly built up in and around the dumpsters. People appeared to be using it as the local landfill. Perhaps in high use season trash prick up twice a week would be more reasonable.

We have been to this lake since 1997. We come every year 2x a year. This year we have been 6x.
We love the fishing, small campground and everyone is super fun and nice. We love that we can bring our dog and he can swim. The best part is the size of each space. Also that we now can reserve the spots we want. We usually take 3 to 4 spots over labor day. We have so much fun!!!! We do the cascade lake loop, go to lapine and explore too. Last time we were there it got VERY Windy, the forest ranger made sure we knew and we put stuff away so it did not blow away. This was the Tuesday that the Fires all started in Oregon. There was so much smoke that we could not even see across the lake. We will keep coming as long as we are welcome! The Baseels
