We enjoyed our stay next to the creek. It was very relaxing to just kick back and listen to the sounds of nature. I would definitely visit again

The location is great but getting there was awful. First the good. The camp site A7 was right on Pauline creek and less than 400 feet from the falls. Plenty of shade with picnic table and fire pit/ grill. Good breeze down the creek to help with the heat (97!) The trail to Pauline Lake was fun as well with little water falls and pools to explore and cool off during the first mile or two. Now the bad. The road in with a 20 foot camper was really bad. Nothing but wash board once you get off the paved road. Camp site itself was very tight to get into and not even close to level. Took us 40 minutes to get into the site and unhook. Then we discovered there was NO POTABLE water despite what the web site said. The only water was the creek. Good thing we pack 10 gallons of fresh water just in case. We were schedule to do a 2 day stay over on our return trip and elected to move the camp site to A12 which would allow us to pull through to park. Would try putting a camper in A7 in the dark. If not for the washboard road, we would probably make this a regular stop as the campground itself is nice and the creek side hike a bonus.

Rangers. Please put a garbage can or 2 in the day use areas. People being lazy are stacking their dog poop bags, spoiled diapers, and trash along the trailhead. Kudos to those picking up behind their dogs. Makes it easier for all of us that want to take our dogs to parks and trails.

You need to replace toilet seat. Worker needs to do more to sanitize bathroom besides replacing toilet paper.

What a relaxing remote campground. Camping along the creek was so lovely, the sound of the water lulled us to sleep. Walking ten minutes to an awesome waterfall was also amazing.

Can’t park a trailer easily at this site without jacks but nice river and waterfall as well as hikes nearby.
