I love this campground so much. It’s beautiful and peaceful and the waterfalls right in the middle of it is so calming to listen to.
I will say they have quite the crew of chipmunks over there. It seems people must feed them on the regular because they were completely fearless. My friend and I had to eat in shifts. She would monitor all corners of our picnic table while I snacked and then we would trade duties. 😂 While it was amusing, it was also annoying.
I think if they were not regularly fed by other campers they may not be quite so bold.

We stayed on loop 1, site number 9. We loved having access to the river and our kids loved splashing around. Site number 9 is close to a waterfall.
There were a few down sides to this site though. There was not very much shade. The trees are very tall and didn't provide enough coverage. Bring something for shade! Also, we were enjoying the base of the waterfall with our family when 25 people came in from a bike tour and took over. Then half an hour later another group of 25 people came again......evidently, they have tours coming through and this is one of their pit stops. Super disappointed.

This is a great campsite, but prepare for dirt. All of the sites have plain dirt ground coverings which is fine so long as you are prepared for it!

Great water access and a great hiking trail begins at the day use area that adjoins this site.

This location was beautiful! Will definitely come again. Only issue was we were hauling a boat, and the road is pretty rough (washboard-like) getting in and out of the campground.
