We had site #2 at Mallard Marsh and it was very quiet and roomy. Just a short walk to a path that led to lake access where we kept our kayaks. Hosmer Lake is gorgeous.

Campsite was nice, very roomy and felt very isolated from other sites. The toilet though was absolutely horrid.

So quiet, and the stars were amazing. Definitely need mosquito protection, noticed all other campers had a mosquito cover over their dining area. Many nearby hikes now require a permit due to overcrowding but there were thankfully, other options.
