Not applicable.
We did not use our reservation as there was a forest fire nearby, resulting in an AQI of 300 for the first day of our reservation.

Beautiful campground and lake. Very quiet too as many sites we’re open ! Perfect place to SUP. The road 2 miles in is a bit rough and bumpy, but worth it!

Good campground for ATVers. Lots of trails to ride right out of campground. 4 miles of rough gravel road going in though! Lake is fun, but fishing is mediocre at best.

Great campsites on the lake. Good kayaking and reports of good fishing. Beautiful setting and great camp hosts.

It was a little confusing to get there because our maps routed us along a four wheel drive road, but there was a better access road a little further down. The campground itself was beautiful and the lake was awesome. We did not have any cell service, but we were able to get some when we walked about half a mile down the road. It was very empty during the week, but more people started coming in on the weekend. There were no rangers stationed there to answer questions, so we had to figure things out for ourselves and ask our neighbors. I would recommend bringing a large water jug to transport the batter back and forth from the water pump because we kept having to walk back and forth. There wasnt any running water and the toilet paper did run out later on in the weekend, so think about bringing some of your own. There was no fire wood sold there, but Im pretty sure you are allowed to use whatever you can find around your site. The lake was really nice and it slopes very slowly so it is perfect for families and dogs and anyone who wants to play around in the water. I would go back there because it was a great location, I just wished that I was more prepared and knew what I was getting into.
