Site 22 was large and a great location, close to water, bathrooms, and a small walk to the lake. Definitely one of the most open sites as there werent many trees to offer the illusion of privacy. The campground was well maintained with clean bathrooms. Would definitely come again.

Cultus is our absolute favorite spot for summer fun. Can't beat it.

Beautiful campground and site.Arrived to people camped in our site. They said the camp host let them set up camp there. After they left and we set up, went to talk to camp host and they were not there. The three nights and four days we camped there, the camp hosts were absent.

The lakefront and swimming area were great. The large sites allowed privacy and room for kids to run around. The pull-through rv parking was very sloped and blocked by branches. The host was absent and useless - bathrooms filthy and not stocked, reservation cards not updated, etc.

Absolutely enjoyed our camping trip at Cultus Lake. The campground was nice and clean, the lake afforded numerous opportunities for fun, SUP, personal watercraft, boating, fishing. All in all a great trip.

Maintenance of bathrooms was lacking!

First time here and we really loved it! Great campground, warm crystal clear lake that is knee deep 50ft out. On my downside no showers. But would recommend and will come back!

We had a great experience. The weather was great! No smoke! Our only complaint was the garbage in loop 2 was overflowing. Need 2 garbage cans.

Great campground. The campsites are decently spaced apart and very well maintained. I was there the Monday after 4th of July weekend and spent one night. I stayed at campsite #35 and although it wasn't RIGHT next to the lake, it was a short walk to a relatively secluded spot on the shore. People were well-behaved and everyone was really respectful of each other. It's a little more developed of a campground and lake than I would normally want, but if you don't mind more people, then this is the place to go!

Honestly I would not recommend spot #19. Its down in a little hole and the back in ramp is very soft dirt which could create a traction problem. There were plenty of open spots and I was extremely eager to move to a better spot but the camp host was never at their spot.

Such a beautiful setting!! We loved our time at Cultus Lake, including pontoon boating, kayaking, floating on the lake, hiking, dinner at the lodge, and family/friend time. We do wish there were showers available, and electricity and cell service would be nice, but not a game changer. We will be back! The only other negative was the annoying mosquitoes!! Overall a great experience!

We modified our date to land lakeside sites. The lake is eye candy, especially at sunset. In early June we have typically experienced wind or mosquitoes. When the wind stops, the mosquitoes move in.

There was no water for our 4 day vacation at Cultus. It was turned off and we never understood why.

Our stay was 5 days. We saw the campground host 1 time. We had to ask him to put toilet paper in the bathroom. He was totally not engaged. He was not keeping toilet paper in the bathroom. His boss came through at one point and left toilet paper with another camper to put in the bathroom. He NEVER cleaned the bathroom. Definitely at the bottom of the pack for hosts.

Just very glad to be able to extinguish a very scary fire and not have to evacuate the campground. You are welcome

The lake is lovely.The night we were there it was VERY loud with no repercussions for the loud parties. Quiet hours exist for a reason, because tents aren't soundproof and sleep is nice. We were very disappointed.

Cultus Lake is one of our favorite places to camp. Pros: The campsites are nicely spaced apart, offering plenty of both shade and sunshine; the lake offers great swimming, boating and lounging activities; The Cultus Lake Lodge is a short hike away, offering a cute little restaurant, boating vessels and a selection of provisions you might have forgotten to pack. Cons: Because Cultus Lake is a popular destination, reservations are difficult to get. Walking through the campground, you will find many sites reserved (there are 50 sites), yet unoccupied. This is a shame as there are many folks who would have loved a site. Perhaps there is a way the folks that operate the campground can penalize no-shows and open the sites for other happy campers.

Site was extremely unlevel, but nice spot down a bit to pitch a tent. Walk path down to lake was mostly private. My reservation wasnt updated on the post, but the host never stopped and I always missed them to ask.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
