Our Cabin and campsite were very well maintained. The staff were all very kind and helpful. I plan to return.

We had the best weekend!! The cabins were perfect for what we wanted, facilities we clean, we were able to take our fur babies and the kids loved it!! We will be going back!!

Almost had the place to ourselves. Enjoyed one night in a cabin as we were traveling to Mammoth Cave. Only downside was that most things were closed given the time of year / low number of visitor (beach and camp store were closed). Check in was very smooth. She was very friendly. Look forward to going back someday and staying a little longer.

Had a great time with friends Memorial day weekend. The cabins are clean and cozy. I would recommend staying at Zilpo. I do wish there were more cabins that allowed dogs. To my knowledge there are only 3 or 4. These seem to get reserved fast! My dog loves it-so i can’t leave her at home!! The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Great experience! The drive in was awesome since all the leaves were changing for fall. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, great location near the lake, and our primitive cabin was better than expected!

We very much enjoyed the stay, bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. Our cabin was nice, but one big reason we booked there was due to the weather and the fact that there were heaters. Neither of our heaters worked and we had to drive a good distance to find a heater. We would love to come back, but we would have to make preparations for these kinds of things next time. Also; we were disappointed that the entire campsite was limited to 2 bath houses.

My family of six had a very good experience staying in a cabin (cabin number 11) and enjoying the beach at Zilpo Campground this Labor Day weekend 2020. The beach was really nice and not crowded at all. We were sure to arrive at 11am so we could get a beach pass. The cabin was very clean. We liked the set up with the fire ring just outside of the cabin and the bathroom very closeby. Definitely bring good bedding if you stay in a cabin- there are no mattresses on the beds! They are hard frames. We knew this going into our trip but next time will be better prepared by bringing extra bedding for cushion!!

issues with the electricity in the cabin that took a part of our day to fix, a bit inconvenient. other than that it is a great place
