Pine Creek is hands down one of the best campgrounds in Paradise Valley. It's unfortunate there is not more accessible land in the valley, so this is a precious gem. The camp hosts do a fabulous job at keeping the place beautiful!

Love this campground. It was beautiful with the creek (then a river) nearby. Deer were in my campsite one morning. The directions given on Recreation.gov are a bit off. You don't have to go down a dirt road if you don't want to. The road up to the campsites is a narrow road and when encountering a car coming down, they should pull over for you (right of way). My neighbors had a bit of a party (there were at least six cars for two campsites, but it was only for an hour or two and they were gone. Thankfully they were quiet at night. Didn't see a camp host, but there might have been one. I made my reservation and it was affixed to the pole. Nice and clean. And, no road noise at all as you are way up.

I found this site was not very user friendly. I actually booked the wrong campsite, by the same name, twice! When I reached out to recreation.gov to cancel the reservation, I got error messages from the site. When I emailed I got no response. No refund was given for a mistake I felt was partly their fault.
